As a NZ CAA Part 43 maintenance facility we can provide maintenance and restoration on Groups 1, 2 and 3 aircraft and Groups 1 and 2 engines. We have specialised experience in rebuilding of rotary engines, manufacture of wooden components, hand cable splicing and fabric recovering in Ceconite, cotton or linen. With a comprehensive set of DH82a drawings and technical news sheets together with genuine De Havilland spar jigs we can produce main spars and all wooden components needed for your DH82a project. We also have NZCAA approval for fibreglass engine cowlings and front seat on DH82 series aircraft.
Working closely with Classic Aero Machining Services (located onsite), we can also provide manufacture of vintage engines from scratch. For information and photos of a completed RAF 1A engine go to http://www.cams.net.nz.
